1-All players are placed on teams.
2-Each team plays three games during the day.
3-All players are substituted according to a number system that gives all...players an equal amount of playing time.
4-All teams play man-to-man defense.
5-All teams play a simple 3 out, 2 under, motion offense.
6-We don't shoot foul shots, they are taken out at the point nearest the...foul. This keeps the action moving since the Shootout is
designed so that ...the college coaches can
watch the players play.
(Note: We cannot guarantee how many coaches
will attend our events. We send out invitations to over 200 coaches.
Their attendance depends upon their schedules and their interest in certain
players which they might already be recruiting).
7-Each player has a different number on their reversible, mesh jersey. ...Each college coach gets a packet that includes
all the numbers, and ...schedules for the day. Their
packet also includes the home address for ...each
of the participants to make it easy for coaches to follow up with a ...note to those players whom they think might be
appropriate for their ...college basketball
program.
8-Players get to keep their special shootout jersey.
9-We do recognize the best players to attend after the Shootout by posting a
list on our website and then sending the list to the 200+ coaches we have on our
email address list. These are the lists from the last three events:
