Bill Gaffey, Was a head basketball coach for 29 years at five
schools winning the state championship at two of those schools, Bishop Guilfoyle
(1967) in Altoona and Susquehanna Twp (1980) in Harrisburg. He and his son
Mike run both the Basketball Shootout along with the Mid State Roundball
and Pennsylvania vs Maryland All-Star Games. |

Mike Gaffey, Has was an assistant coach at Alvernia Collge
and a head coach a three high schools, winning a District III title with
Palmyra. He currently also provides Personalized Basketball Training to

Bob Shellenberger, Has been the voice of the P.I.A.A. State
Basketball Championships at Hersheypark Arena. He adds a professional touch
to the Shootouts with his daylong work at the microphone and his introductions
of the All-Star participants at the culminating All-Star Game to end the
day. His hometown is Windber (PA) and he played college baseball at Shippensburg
University. |
