a. Use the map in the textbook on pp88-89.
b.  Label this outline map: include countries, capitals, water bodies, physical features, including the Suez Canal. 
c. Draw on the Tropic of Cancer and the 40 degree north latitude line. (Remember: latitude lines run east and west, but they measure distance north  or south of the equator. (Remember: that we always look for the 40 degree north latitude line since the same line  runs around the world and travels through the Harrisburg area); (Remember: All the countries shown in the darker grey are considered the Middle East and they indicate the capital for each country by placing a star in front of the name of the capital city).
