b-Then go to the internet and examine the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

a. Read pp 153-163 and identify: Jesuits, viceroys, mercantilism, mestizos, mulattoes, creoles, Toussaint-Louverture, Miguel Hidalgo, Simon Bolivar, San Martin, haciendas, coup d'etat, caudillos, Monroe Doctrine, Santa Anna, Guantanamo Bay Base.
b. What were the results of the Spanish-American War?
