1-Hailie Selassie, Ethiopia
Mutiny in the army branch of the military began on January 12, 1974, and was followed by several provincial takeovers.The emperor's estate and palace were nationalized, Selassie was directly accused of covering up the famine of the early 1970's which killed hundreds of thousands of people. On September 12th, he was formally deposed and arrested. In August 1975, His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie died under questionable circumstances under house arrest, and was secretly buried along with his early legacy of Ethiopian pride and sovereignty.

Uganda achieved independence from the UK in 1962. The dictatorial regime of Idi AMIN (1971-79) was responsible for the deaths of some 300,000 opponents and brought the country to the edge of ruin. He totally abolished democracy in Uganda. Each man who didn't obey the regime was brutally murdered; guerrilla war and human rights abuses under Milton OBOTE (1980-85) claimed another 100,000 lives.
