DeVaughn T. "Dee" Lee, 15, of 1349 Newport Road Manheim died on Sunday,
January 16, 2011 following an automobile accident in South Londonderry
Township, Lebanon County. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Shirley
(Bucher) wife of John F. Terenchin of Manheim and Stacey Lee of Mount Joy.
Dee was a freshman at the Manheim Central High School and he attended
Grace Brethren Church of Manheim where he was active in the Awana Club. He
was also a member of the Manheim Soccer Club. An honor student at Manheim
Central, Dee was involved in Manheim Midget Football, Jr. High Football,
High School Football, Intramural Basketball, Manheim Travel Basketball
Team, Junior High and High School Basketball, PA Hoops A.A.U., Central
Penn Ballers A.A.U. and he was the Regional Winner for Punt, Pass & Kick
at the Philadelphia Eagles Stadium in 2004 and 2006. His interests
included playing sports, fishing, X-box, watching movies late night with
his mom and he loved monster quest and dinosaur movies.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Lee
at home, Katrecia Schupp of Mt. Gretna, step-sister, Jennifer A. Terenchin
of West Palm Beach, Florida, two brothers, Daniel C. Lee and Dustin Lee
both of Lancaster, maternal grandmother, Mildred E. Bucher of Lititz and
several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral
service at the LCBC Church, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim on Friday,
January 21, 2011 at 5:00 PM. There will be a viewing at LCBC Church on
Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the church on Friday
afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Additional Services for DeVaughn will
take place at the Grace Brethren Church of Manheim, 333 East High Street,
Manheim on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM. There will be a viewing
at the Grace Brethren Church on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the
time of service. Interment in Penryn Cemetery, Penryn, PA. Please omit
flowers. Those desiring may send contributions in DeVaughn's memory to
Care for Our Kids Project (checks payable to MCSD Social Services Fund),
71 North Hazel Street, Manheim, PA 17545 to help pay for funeral expenses.
Any excess funds will be used towards a scholarship in his memory. The
