March Madness 2008

3/17/08, Both the NCAA and the NIT started this week.  Did you know that in 1950,  CCNY (City College of New York) won both the NIT and the NCAA?  At that time the NIT was the oldest and most prestigious tournament and was held in Madison Square Garden.  Then, NIT stood for National Invitation Tournament.  Now,  NIT stands for Not Interested Today.  It's almost a tournament for J.V. teams.
A sad epitah.
