records!- 12/8/08, STAUNTON - Lee coach Paul Hatcher's 40-year winning streak over  Broadway High School boys' basketball team continued- Lee took advantage of 23 Broadway turnovers and a sizeable advantage in foul-shot attempts to top the Gobblers 43-33 in a tight non-district contest Friday, continuing longtime  BHS.
Dale Still Unbeaten-Fabulous freshman Kalia Johnson poured in 23 points, had nine assists and grabbed eight rebounds in Dale's 73-60 victory over Varina.

Starters returning: 1. Outlook: Will rely heavily on PG Brandon Jennings, who is headed to Arizona. Oak Hill's early schedule includes Duncanville (Texas), St. Benedict's (Newark, N.J.), and Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.). Senior Malik Story, a 6-5 SG who is going to Southern Cal, also also handle a lot of the scoring. Another key senior is 6-8 PF Danny Jennings. Glenn Bryant, a 6-7 junior transfer who can play SF or PF, averaged 14 points and nine rebounds last season at Dakota (Macomb, Mich.). Another transfer starter is Keith "Tiny" Gallon, a 6-9, 300-pound junior center from Houston's Timberwood High. Next: Nov. 30 vs. Urban Christian.

defeated Booker T. Washington last Saturday and came home victorious, 68-55. Senior guard Glenn Andrews led all scorers with 35 points, 15 of them coming from the three-point line.
