Congratulations to Coach Lin James
North Harford girls basketball coach Lin James won her 600th career game at the Pylesville school Monday night.
The Lady Hawks, who nearly gave their coach the historic win Friday night, left no doubt in Monday's win,
bolting out to a 26-6 first quarter lead and rolling to a 61-32 win over neighboring private school, Harford Christian.
SHOT CLOCK THIS YEAR IN MARYLAND

The Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association and affiliated Baltimore Catholic League have adopted a 35-second shot clock for the upcoming basketball season.
The shot clock will be in place this season for all three of the MIAA conferences and the BCL at the varsity and junior varsity levels.  The shot clock will be in play for any games between MIAA and BCL teams, and against out-of-league competition that already has a shot clock in place.   All schools will be properly equipped with a shot clock system when play begins this season. ( The Baltimore Sun, 11/16/12).

2012-2013 Season
11/20/12, (Hagerstown) Moni Anderson (2014) deposited a career-high 32 points to lead Broadfording Christian Academy to a 91-57 victory over Heritage Christian to win the Lions Classic on Tuesday night at Broadfording.
The junior had four 3-pointers and worked the floor end-to-end as part of a Broadfording attack that began from the beginning and never let up as the Lions won their fifth game without defeat in the early season. Sophomore Jordan Savage led Heritage Christian, based out of Lanham, Md., with 14 points. (Tim Koelble, koelble@herald-mail.com)

Meade girls must forfeit a 100-29 win?  (Baltimore Sun Jan 3, 2012) --Meade’s girls basketball team has had to forfeit its Dec. 10 Anne Arundel County league victory over North County, because the Mustangs played too many games in one week.
The Mustangs played Aberdeen, Chesapeake, Woodlawn and North County in a Tuesday-through-Sunday stretch to start their season, but MPSSAA rules stipulate that teams can play no more than three games in a single week.   First-year coach Reggie Leach said he was not aware of the rule and that the schedule was already set when he took over the team. The Mustangs, who drop to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in the league, had to forfeit their last game of that stretch, a 100-29 win over North County.
