Myles Cale Leads Appoquinimink to Victory Curtis Watkins (Editor)

The Appoquinimink Jaguars won a big game on Friday night against a very good Delaware Military team by recording a closely contested 66-60 victory.  They were led by 64 sophomore Myles Cale who hit for 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. 66 junior Kristian Alexander also scored 12 points and collected 7 rebounds to help his team win.

The Seahawks were led in scoring by 62 senior Brian Cameron with 17 points and 510 junior Trevor Hill netted 14 points. 64 junior Paul Wolfe grabbed 20 rebounds to help his team stay close in the game.

Cale who is now rated as the top sophomore in the state for the class of 2017 in Delaware, has led his team to a top 5 ranking and a (15-3) record. He is a tremendous athlete who slashes well to the basket and is a great leaper and can score a lot of points in a short time. He plays AAU basketball in the summer for the South Jersey Jazz.

The Seahawks who lost the game have a (13-5) record and should make the state playoffs. They are a solid team that could upset some of the top schools in the state.
