Celeste Robinson is projected as one of the top sophomores in the Schuylkill County League this season.

 Outlook for 2009-2010:  Coach Rob Kovac is ready to move his Jim Thorpe girls over the top this year.  He had previously been an assistant in the Thorpe boys program, then the head coach of the Panther Valley girls before taking over the Thorpe girls program.  He knew the challenge and has now positioned the program to contend.

Jim Thorpe (Class AAA) plays in the Schuylkill County League,
they play three games on the road before Christmas which will provide a good idea of how serious they will contend:
12/12 at Palmerton
12/15 at West Side Vo-Tech
12/17 at Tamaqua
