Credit: Hugh Dixon, the Director of the Beacon Community Center at Vaux High School in North Philadelphia.  Played basketball at Penn Wood High School,  (All Delaware County football and basketball) and basketball at Tuskegee Institute/University, later coached at at Harriton High School.  Also at one time, Mr. Dixon served as a stringer for newspapers in the Philadelphia Metro area, reporting on sports and civil rights issues.
