Girl's AAAA Championship: Central Dauphin 51   Harrisburg 38

Joey Klazos,  the Lancaster Catholic coach did not win the title in AAA, but he did gain recognition for the outstanding job he did with his team in the tournament.  They played very well under his direction.  The Lancaster newspaper called them the "Cinderella team." Alyssa Thomas,  scored at career high 37 in the semi-finals on Monday.  She is recognized as one of the top players in the state.  She has been invited to play for Pennsylvania in the Pennsylvania/Maryland Senior All-Star Basketball Game.  Stasia King, Harrisburg, a 6'1  junior had three consecutive double-doubles going into the finals and has been a big factor in the Harrisburg push into the Championship Game.- (Photo credit: Sean Simmers, The Patriot-News)
