Boys High School Basketball for 12-12-11-The Tigers of Alexis I DuPont behind the 19 point performance of juniors Marquon Wynn, Vadil Long's 14 points and 13 by Jahmere Anderson defeated the Cougars of Delcastle by a 60-57 score. 

Sr. Kenny Owens 20 point performance along with sr Kain Johnson's 15 points and jr Terrance Best chipped in 12 points paced the Lake Forest Spartans over Colonel Richardson of MD by a 62-53.

18 points by jr Jamal Hill paced the Crusaders of  Campus Community Christian to a 70-34 win over the Ravens of Delmarva Community Christian. Seniors Jacob Wroton and Brendan Smith each with 8 points in the loss.

12-13-11:  The Concord Raiders behind DeShawn Lowman's 25 points and 12 by Troy Davis paced the Concord Raiders to a 65-33 win over the Force of the Charter School of Wilmington.  For Charter in the loss, Roy Ferrell led with 21 points.  Before the game started, the late Charles Smith was honored and excelled at Old Dominion.

13 points each by Ryan Broussard and Larenz Thurman, 12 by Sam Carney, 11 by Sean Kirkpatrick paced the Quakers of Wilmington Friends to a 53-43 win over Archmere.  Austin High led the Auks with 13 points.

23 points by Tomir Gibbs, 15 by Devon Holland and Korihan Carpenter paced the Mt. Pleasant Green Knights to a 74-37 win over Dickinson.

sr Elizabeth Lakeman's 17 points paced the Lady Saints of St. Andrews to a 37-34 win over the Lady Quakers of Friends.

fr Traneigh Triplett's 14 point performance paced the Lady Redskins of Conrad to a 38-36 win over the Lady Yellowjackets of Newark.  For the Lady Jackets, sr. Jocelyn Guzman led with 14 and jr. Shatoya Stevenson contributed with 11.

16 points by jr Yasmin Walker, fr. Micah Morgan's 10 point performance paced the Lady Bucs of Caravel to a 47-42 win over the Lady Pandas of Padua.  For Padua, jr Emma Matthews led with 12 points.

So B.J. Flemings and so Jordan Coleman led a balanced attack with 9 points each to pace Hodgson to a 53-34 win over Howard.  8 Lady Eagle players contributed for the win.  Fr. Ariana Fleming and  So Tierra Johnson added 8 pts apiece.  So Mia Wynn grabbed 11 rebounds to lead team.

Sr. Parris Ridgeway Harris's 18 points along with teammates sr Tyarre Hudson's 11 points and jr Nicholas Richards 10 paced the Silver Eagles of Hodgson to a 60-55 win over the Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant.  For the Knights in the loss, sr Tomir Gibbs led with 17 points, sr Parris Holland contributed with 16 points and sr Dwayne Holland with 10.

Jr. Isaac Fleming's 29 points 16 by jr Tyree Berry paced the Colonials of William Penn to a 61-50 win over The Tatnall School.  For the Hornets in the loss, so Joe Cooper led with 17 points, 10 by jr. Monte Taylor.

12-15-11 Girls Basketball-22 points by Amani Clark (Sr) and 12 points by Jr. Ashley Smith paced the Lady Jaguars of Appoquimink to a 62-39 victory over the Lady Cougars of Delcastle.

SR Nyjae Dickerson's 19 points along with sr Ravyn Hill's 12 points paced the Bulldogs of Brandywine to a 54-20 win over the Lady Titans of Pencader Charter. 

Sr. Octivia Booker's13 point performance paced the Lady Silver Eagles of Hodgson Vo Tech to a 62-25 win over the Lady Knights of Mt. Pleasant. Other Silver Eagle performers, sr Mia Wynn with 10 pts, 13 rebs and Jr. Khaja Hurst added 10 points and a team high 18 rebs. So Jordan Coleman also pulled down 12 rebounds.  For the Lady Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant, sr. Bria Nix led with 10 points.

The Lady Force of The Charter School of Wilmington behind the 26 point effort of sr. Kelly Perillo and sr teammate Hannah Nitsche 10 points by fr Megan Waltz defeated the Cavaliers of Middletown to a 63-29 score. 

12-15-11 Pierce Ripanti's 19 points paced the Bucs of Caravel to a 48-44 win over Preparatory Academy Charter School from PA. 

Seniors Norville Carey had 35 points and 11 rebounds and teammate Deon Edwin scored 18 Jr. Javier Martinez poured in 14 points as Red Lion Academy defeated Princeton Day Academy of MD. Red Lion will play Sanford School on 12-17 at 7:00 for the Kappa Klassic Championship.

16 points by seniors Amadius Der-Weer 15 by teammate J W Lawson and 10 by DeShawn Lowman paced the Raiders of Concord to a 53-47 win over the Vikings of St. Elizabeth's. Jr Andre Patton led the Vikings with 22 points.

Sr. Andre Gibbs 20 points along with teammate sr Dario Amato paced the Smyrna Eagles to a 47-46 win over the Riders of Caesar Rodney.  For the Riders in the loss, sr. Savon Farlow led with 21 points and jr Shymier Hanzer contributed with 12 points.

Senior Damien Hudson's 25 points along with sr Cesar Vazquez's 24 points paced the Milford Buccaneers to a 67-55 win over the Golden Knights of Sussex Central.  For the Knights, so Shyheim Ayers led with 23 points and teammate jr Devlyne King contributed with 11.

12-16-11 Girls Basketball Games 16 points by junior Sophie McCoy, 11 by jr Jenna Chodos paced the Lady Hillers of Tower Hill to a 49-33 win over the Lady Quakers of Wilmington Friends School.  For the Lady Quakers, jr Lauren Kerrigan led with 18 points.

Brook Atley's 10 point performance paced the Hawks of St. Georges to a 40-33 win over the Lady Knights of Mt. Pleasant.  Felicia Cruel from Mt. Pleasant led all scorers with 13 points.

Sr. Daneka Dixon's 21 point performance paced the Lady Bulldogs of Laurel to a 45-36 win over the Lady Blue Raiders of Woodbridge.  Jr. Ashae Johnson led the Lady Raiders with 12 points.

Jr. Chaneka Young's 12 point performance along with jr Jazmine Lee's 11 points paced the Lady Riders of Woodbridge to a 50-49 win over the Lady Eagles of Smyrna.  For the Lady Eagles, jr Brionna Johnson led with 15 points and so Alexus Stroud contributed with 12.

14 points by Emmanuel Habtewold, 12 by Derek Degouette 10 by Tyler Lewis paced the Seahawks of Delaware Military to a 58-42 win over the Royals of Delmarva Christian.  For Delmarva Christian, Steve Barry and Jacob Wroton each led with 11 points and 10 by teammate Brandon Smith.

Keith Johnson's 24 points including the game winning basket at the buzzer paced the Glasgow Dragons to a 66-64 win over Caravel in the 3rd place game of the Kappa Classic.  Dragon teammates Unique Williams helped with 14 points.  For Caravel, George Murray led with 14 points, 11 each by Cameron Clark and DaJuan Copes.

Jordan Coleman posted a double-double 11 points along with 10 rebounds. Octivia Booker added 10pts 6 steals.  Ariana Fleming and Dynasty Williams scored 6pts each to pace the Lady Silver Eagles of Hodgson to a 39-16 win over Pencader Charter.

Jessica Davis-Denkins 20 points paced the Colonials of William Penn to a 53-24 win over the Lady Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant. Bria Nix led the Knights with 12 points.
