Basketball Camp Preview

Harry Robinson of Carver Vo-Tech in Maryland – Senior …averaged 19ppg and 7 assists per game…Is known for his 3 point shooting and is an excellent defender

Anthony Gregory of Carver Vo-Tech in Maryland – Junior at 6’0” even averaged two dunks per game and 15 ppg with a 39 inch vertical. Athleticism is not a problem. Front Runner for camp slam dunk contest.

Kirk Peters of Susquehanna Twp. – was the team’s leading scorer at 15ppg with his season high of 41 vs. Gettysburg. He was a member of the 2006 District Championship Team!

Greg Harris of Lebanon High School – a 5’10” athletic and gritty point guard. He was instrumental in Lebanon’s upset victory over Msgr. Bonner out of Philly at the Stellar Construction Tourney in Allentown and caught the eye of the Prystal Scouting Service. He has a nasty cross over dribble from the top of the circle!

Colon Reitz 6’8” of Northern Lebanon – He goes inside outside. For 6’8” he creates match up problems because he steps out and shoots the three. His versatility has made him a hot prospect. He has performed well at Charlie Webber and the Harley Davidson Jam Fest!

Austin Cook of Susquehanna Twp. - Austin is the highest rated guard in the Harrisburg Central PA area by the Prystal Scouting Service. He rates highly because he plays hard at both ends and has a decent basketball IQ to go with his athleticism. His team won the District 3 AAA championship in 2006 at the Hershey Giant Center!

Daniel Cook of Susquehanna Twp. - Daniel has not lost a game since the 8th grade as a starter and can dunk off one or both feet. Enough said.

Adam Goldsmith of Susquehanna Twp. - As a member of the 2006 Championship Team he is best known for his three point range on his jumper. He can't be left alone from 27 feet on in. He really spreads out a defense! Prystal Scouting Service has him rated as a Top 20 player in the Harrisburg Area!

Paul Gibbs III of Middletown, DE – This dynamic point guard averaged 9 ppg and 8 assists per game as a junior. He was also a “Top 40” selection at the PA vs. Maryland Summer Shootout at PSU Harrisburg. He sees the floor extremely well in transition and never takes a play off!
Ryan Kelly of Allentown Central Catholic – Kelly is a 5’9” Rising Senior for ACC. Their team figures to be a major player in the AAA State Playoffs once again. His top college choices are : Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John’s and Delaware.
-Joe Horvath of Pequea Valley is a rising senior with great numbers entering his final campaign. He averaged 14.2 as a junior and shot 75% from the line and had 22 (3) pointers in legue play last year! His size makes him a marketable 2 guard at the next level!
This is Brady Haughney from Tulpehocken High School in Pennsylvania- Brady has twice already been named to the Berks County team.  He should be one of the premier guards in the Berks area this coming season.

-Nate Myers --Nate is from Annville-Cleona and was named to the "All Freshman Team" at the 2005 Basketball Camp and the Summer Shootout "Top 40" All Star Team at the Summer Shootout. Jordan Gatchall from Manheim Central averaged 10.8 with 28 threes and a 72% free throw average as a soph last year. He will attend with his brother Zach Gatchall who also was a top perfomer for the Barons last year. Zach compliments his brother well because he is one of their top defenders.
-Lance Peiffer from Manheim Central is definitely one of the top senior guards in the entire Lancaster-Lebanon League this upcoming season. He is solid at both ends of the floor. He shoots off the catch and off the dribble. He has led his team with Gatchall in the well known Smallwood summer League to an 8-0 mark so far. He is also a two time PA-MD Shootout All Star as well.
-Brian Barry from Annville-Cleona. Brian will leave for Division 1 Furman this weekend (June 23rd) to attend their prospect camp. He has received calls from West Virginia, Yale, Army, VMI, Navy and Columbia at the Division 1 level. He just dropped 30 on arch rival Columbia in the Steel High Summer League June 16th.
-Lloyd Hill from Steel High will be attending camp for his 4th straight year. The “Big Cat” is untouchable in the post and put up nice numbers as a Freshman starter at Steel High this past season. He was also an all star selection at the PA-MD Summer Shootout on June 4th at PSU Harrisburg.
-Jordan Hill – Rising Sophomore at the storied program at Steel High…  At 6’4” he goes inside with his patented up and under and likes to step out and hit the 15-17 footer that has coaches drooling over him right now. He also started as a frosh and has looked good in summer league play so far.
