What's happening in your program this year? Don't forget, take the opportunity to sign up early and get a spot in this year's Skills Emphasis basketball camp at Alvernia College in Reading.

Did you see the editorial by Jay Bilas the college basketball analyst at ESPN, he said that foreign players are moving ahead of players in this country because too many of our players are playing on AAU teams instead of going to camp to work on skills and run drills to improve their fundamentals game. In their AAU games they just race up and down the court and go on-on-one for slam dunks. They learn the Kobe Bryant passing style(as in if you can shoot, why pass). The only time he passes is if he takes the ball out of bounds and passes it in. Otherwise, forget it!
Our camp emphasizes skills and is geared to develop players who are dedicated to growing as an individual within the team concept to help his high school team win and to become the type of player that college coaches want to recruit.

Pennsylvania/Maryland Basketball Camp

Boys going into grades 7-12 are eligible. In the past, our events have been attended by players from not only Pennsylvania and Maryland, but also from Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, Canada, the District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey and Ohio.

August 1-5, 2004
